The first standard after-tax benchmarks across the industry

The Listed Investment Companies Association of Australia has arranged for the FTSE ASFA Australia Index Series to be made available for benchmarking purposes. This gives investors, advisers and other stakeholders a common basis to compare the after-tax performance of individual Listed Investment Companies with an after-tax benchmark, where historically they have been measured on a pre-tax basis.

The development of the FTSE ASFA Australia Index Series began in 2009 in partnership with ASFA and in conjunction with the Australian market to provide Australian superannuation funds, investment managers and other stakeholders with industry standard after-tax benchmarks developed specifically to assist the industry’s transition to after-tax performance measurement and reporting.
