FTSE China Index Series

The FTSE China Index Series (previously named FTSE Xinhua Index Series) is the leading index series designed to access investment opportunities for the China market. A comprehensive family of indices has been created for major asset classes including equities and bonds and all Chinese share types to suit any domestic or international mandate.

The index series covers various share classes, including A Shares, B Shares, H Shares, Red Chips, P Chips and Hong Kong Stocks, sized companies, sectors and themes so investors can dissect the market for analysis and benchmarking purposes and gain access to the China market.

The indices are designed for use as performance benchmarks, and as the basis for derivative trading and index tracking funds. Leading investment companies have launched Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs), derivatives and other index-linked products on the FTSE China Index Series, which are available to investors across North America, Europe and Asia.

The FTSE China A50 and FTSE China 25 Indices’ values are now delivered on an intra-second streaming basis which gives investors a better reflection of market activity and increased transparency on trades against the index to respond immediately to market events.
