FTSE EPRA/NAREIT Index Series
The FTSE EPRA/NAREIT Global Real Estate Index Series draws on FTSE’s global indexing expertise and both EPRA and NAREIT’s knowledge of the real estate sector within their individual markets. It provides institutional investors with a guide to the performance of real estate investments worldwide. The series covers the world’s main markets, including North America, Europe, and Asia, This index series achieved the highest rating of real estate index providers in recent BGI real estate research.
The most recent addition to the real estate indices for FTSE is the FTSE EPRA/NAREIT UK REIT Index. The index sits within the FTSE EPRA/NAREIT Global REITs and Non-REITs Index Series, and the index reflects the introduction of UK REIT legislation at the beginning of 2007.
The FTSE NAREIT US Real Estate Index Series is designed to track industry-wide performance of US REITs and listed real estate companies, the series includes 48 distinct price and total return indices, 18 property sectors and sub-sectors, and 14 real-time indices in US dollars. This series provides comprehensive coverage of US real estate equities and complements the FTSE EPRA/NAREIT Global Real Estate Index Series and offers complete index solutions for the US domestic investors.
