FTSE Private Banking Index Series

The FTSE Private Banking Index Series is a joint initiative between FTSE Group and Private Banking Index Limited (PriBIL). The series draws on FTSE’s indexing expertise and PriBIL’s knowledge of the private banking sector and provides a tool for high net worth investors and their banks to benchmark their multi-asset class investment.

Banks contributing their asset allocations to the index include: ABN AMRO Bank, Banco del Gottardo, Bank Hoffman, Bank Vontobel, BSI, Clariden Bank, Fortis Bank, F. van Lanschot Bankiers, Kredietbank Luxembourg, Mirabaud & Cie, Picet & Cie, Puilaetco Private Bankers and Schretlen & Co.

FTSE Private Banking Index has already attracted support from within the private banking industry. Mr. Eric Ebermeyer, Board Member of Fortis Private Banking says "With the launch of the FTSE Private Banking Index Series, private banks and their clients finally have an objective and suitable measure tool to compare the performance of private portfolios whereby risk attitude, base currency and selection of a wide variety of investment categories are all properly taken into account."
