様々なFTSE指数委員会において、FTSEのインデックスが正確に市況を反映し、常に客観的であるよう確保されています。委員会は例えば、年金基金、運用マネージャー、運用アナリストといいった、世界中の著名な市場関係者で構成されます。

FTSE指数委員会の目的

  • インデックスがグランド・ルール（全てのFTSEインデックスが従う、厳格なインデックス構築ルールの）に沿って管理し計算され、公平、透明かつ正確である事を確保する。
  • 市場のニーズに応えてゆくうえで必要な場合は、グランド・ルールを改良する。
  • 新しい指数のデザインと作成についてアドバイスする。
