The FTSE European Index Series is designed to measure the performance of companies resident and incorporated in Europe. The indices can be used for benchmarking purposes and as tools in the creation of index tracking funds, exchange traded funds (ETFs) and derivatives. All indices are calculated and published in Euros. The series comprises the following real-time indices:

FTSE Eurotop 100 Index

The FTSE Eurotop 100 Index represents the performance of the 100 most highly capitalised blue-chip companies in Europe.

FTSE EuroMid Index

The FTSE EuroMid is a benchmark index designed to represent the performance of mid cap pan-European companies. It encompasses the following sub-indices:

  • FTSE EuroMid Eurobloc
  • FTSE EuroMid ex UK

FTSE Euro 100 Index

The FTSE Euro 100 Index represents the performance of the 100 most highly capitalised blue-chip companies based in the European countries that form part of the European Monetary Union (EMU).
