FTSE/Hang Seng Asian Sector Indexes Semi-annual Review Daishin Securities Update

Further to the notice on 12 March 2003, the announcement stated that Daishin Securities Co Ltd (6251200) would be added to the FTSE/Hang Seng Asian Financials Sector Index with an investibility weight of 100%.

Please note that this company will be added with full market capitalisation, i.e. its secondary line, Daishin Securities Co Ltd-PF (6248503) will also be added to the FTSE/Hang Seng Asian Financials Sector Index with an investibility weight of 100%. This will become effective after the close of business on Friday, 21 March 2003 (i.e. effective from the start of trading on Monday 24 March 2003).

All other details remain unchanged.
