The Issuer advises that the following announcement replaces the FTSE All-World Regional Japan Index Review Changes announcement released 4 September at 07:01 under RNS No 3755P. There are 15 additional Investability Weight Changes following Chiba Bank Ltd (Sedol:6190563) detailed at the bottom of this amended technical notice. These Investability Weight Changes will become effective after the close of business on Friday, 19 September 2003 (i.e. on Monday, 22 September 2003). Please Note: These changes are in addition to those already contained within the FTSE All-World Provisional Index Series. With effective from 22 September 2003, the FTSE All-World Index Series files will include the changes outlined below and those applicable in the Provisional Series.
