INDEX	CHANGE	EFFECTIVE FROM START OF TRADING
FTSEurofirst 100 Index	HSBC Holdings (UK 0540528) will remain in the index with an increased shares in issue total of 12,004,692,510 and an unchanged investability weighting of 100%.	16 May 2008
FTSEurofirst 300 Index	HSBC Holdings will be treated as above.	16 May 2008
