Subject to the completion of the demerger of Scripps Networks Interactive Inc. (USA) from The E.W. Scripps Company (USA constituent), FTSE announces the following changes:

INDEX	CHANGE	EFFECTIVE FROM START OF TRADING
FTSE All-World Index	Scripps Networks Interactive (USA, B39QT24) will be added to the Mid Cap index with a shares in issue total of 126,255,540 and an investability weighting of 75%. E.W. Scripps Company (USA, 2862532) will remain in the index with an unchanged shares in issue total of 126,255,540 and an unchanged investability weighting of 75%.	01 July 2008
FTSE World Index Ex-Multinationals	Scripps Networks Interactive will be added to the index as detailed above. E.W. Scripps Company will remain in the index as detailed above.	01 July 2008
FTSE Global Sector - Media	Scripps Networks Interactive will be added to the index as detailed above. E.W. Scripps Company will deleted from the index.	01 July 2008
FTSE Global Style Index	Scripps Networks Interactive will be added to the index as detailed above. E.W. Scripps Company will remain in the index as detailed above.	01 July 2008
FTSE Global Islamic Index	Scripps Networks Interactive will be added to the index as detailed above. E.W. Scripps Company will remain in the index as detailed above.	01 July 2008
