INDEX	CHANGE	EFFECTIVE FROM START OF TRADING
FTSEurofirst 300 Index	Novartis (Switzerland, 7103065) will remain in the index with an increased shares in issue total of 2,643,623,000 and an unchanged investability weighting of 100%.	4 August 2008
