Subject to the completion of the stock acquisition of Petrobras Energia Participaciones SA Series B (Argentina, Constituent) by Petrobras Energia SA Series B (Argentina), FTSE announces the following changes:

INDEX	CHANGE	EFFECTIVE FROM START OF TRADING
FTSE All-World Index	Petrobras Energia Series B (Argentina, 2681931) will be added to the MidCap index with a shares in issue total of 1,775,055,844 and an investability weighting of 75%. Petrobras Energia Participaciones SA (Argentina, 2539999) will be deleted from the index.	30 September 2009
FTSE All-Emerging Index	Petrobras Energia SA will be added to the index as detailed above. Petrobras Energia Participaciones SA will be deleted from the index.	30 September 2009
