Northeast Expressway (A) (China) : Spin-Off
Changes in FTSE Xinhua Domestic Investor Indices

18 March 2010

In conjunction with the listing timetable of the spin-off companies, Heilongjiang Transportation and Jilin Expressway, from Northeast Expressway (China constituent), Northeast Expressway will remain included in the index until 19 March 2010. Heilongjiang Transportation and Jilin Expressway will replace Northeast Expressway in the FTSE Xinhua index effective 22 March 2010. In conjunction with the index rules this will result in the FTSE Xinhua 400 index having 401 companies for a temporary period.

Further announcements will be published on 19 March 2010 to provide details of the changes, and on 22 March 2010 to provide details of the removal of the extra company in the index. The removal will be effective on 24 March 2010.
