Following the unconditional cash offer for Berjaya Retail (Malaysia constituent) by Premier Merchandise Sdn Bhd (Unlisted) , FTSE and Bursa Malaysia announce the following changes:

INDEX	CHANGE	EFFECTIVE FROM START OF TRADING
FTSE Bursa Malaysia Small Cap Index	Berjaya Retail (5179, B42SX77) will be deleted from the index.	20 April 2011

Please note that where necessary all relevant changes will be simultaneously reflected within the corresponding FTSE Bursa Malaysia Indices.
