Further to the notice issued on 6 October 2011 and in conjunction with the timetable regarding the proposed merger between PTT Chemical (Thailand constituent) and PTT Aromatics and Refining (Thailand constituent) to form PTT Global Chemical (Thailand), FTSE and The Stock Exchange of Thailand announce the following changes: | INDEX | CHANGE | EFFECTIVE FROM
START OF TRADING | | FTSE SET Large Cap Index | PTT Chemical (Thailand, B0T9JT9, PTTCH) will have a name change to PTT Global Chemical with an increased shares in issue total of 4,469,350,035 and an increased investability weighting of 58.23%*.
PTT Aromatics and Refining (Thailand, B2B3324, PTTAR) will be deleted from the index.
