Changes In FTSE Indices

Following confirmation from Polymetal (Russia, Constituent) for the Mandatory Tender Offer to proceed and acquire all remaining shares, FTSE announces the following changes:

INDEX	CHANGE	EFFECTIVE FROM START OF TRADING
FTSE All-World Index	Polymetal (Russia, B59BVS3) will be deleted from the index.	19 December 2011
FTSE Gold Mines Index	Polymetal will be deleted from the index.	19 December 2011
FTSE All-Emerging Index	Polymetal will be deleted from the index.	19 December 2011

Please note: Polymetal International PLC (UK) will not be considered for FTSE All-World Developed Europe eligibility until the next quarterly FTSE Global Equity Index series Developed Europe review in September 2012.
