Further to FTSE notice issued on 29 December 2011, and following the listing of Swire Properties (Hong Kong constituent) on 18 January 2012, FTSE announces the following changes:

INDEX	CHANGE	EFFECTIVE FROM START OF TRADING
FTSE Hong Kong Index	Swire Properties (Hong Kong, B67C2G0) will remain in the index with an increased shares in issue total of 5,850,000,000 and a decreased investability weighting of 10%.	20 January 2012
FTSE Hong Kong Index ex H Shares	Swire Properties will remain in the index as detailed above.	20 January 2012

Please note:

Swire Properties' ICB Classification will be changed from 2727 Diversified Industrials to 8633 Real Estate Holding & Development.
