Changes in FTSE ST Index Series

Following the unconditional cash offer for SMB United (Singapore constituent) by Osaki Electric (Japan non-constituent) and in conjunction with Ground Rule 6.2.5 , FTSE, SGX and SPH announce the following changes:

INDEX	CHANGE	EFFECTIVE FROM START OF TRADING
FTSE ST Small Cap Index	SMB United (Singapore, 6852959, S16) will be deleted from the index.	20 February 2012
FTSE ST All Share Index	SMB United will be deleted from the index.	20 February 2012

The above changes will automatically be reflected in the relevant corresponding Industry, Super Sector, Sector and Sub Sector indices.
