Subject to the court sanctioning the scheme of arrangement in relation to the acquisition of Nautical Petroleum PLC (UK) by Capricorn Energy Limited (Non-Constituent), FTSE announces the following changes:

INDEX CHANGE EFFECTIVE FROM
START OF TRADING
FTSE AIM UK 50 Nautical Petroleum (UK B3D2ND7) will be deleted from the index.


Gemfields (B0HX108) will be added to the the index with a shares in issue total of 323,864,883 and an investability weighting of 100%.
8 August 2012
FTSE AIM 100 Nautical Petroleum will be deleted from the index.


Unitech Corporate Parks (B1HWL91) will be added to the the index with a shares in issue total of 360,000,000 and an investability weighting of 100%.

FTSE AIM All-Share Nautical Petroleum will be deleted from the index. 8 August 2012

Please note: The last day of dealings for Nautical Petroleum is expected to be Monday 6th August 2012. Therefore it will remain in the index on Tuesday 7th August 2012 based on its last trade price.
