Free Float

Free Float Adjusted

All FXI index constituents are fully free float adjusted in accordance with FTSE's free float rules, to reflect the actual availability of stock in the market for public investment.

All FXI indices are periodically reviewed for changes in constituent free float. FXI constituent weightings are adjusted to reflect strategic shareholdings, foreign ownership or corporate events, to ensure an accurate representation of investable market capitalisation.

FTSE Bandings

To provide accurate free float representation and minimise turnover costs FTSE bandings are applied to all FXI indices. Each constituent is assigned to a specific free float band, whilst still retaining the benefits of free float weighting. Bandings are displayed below:
