Index Rules

As with all FTSE indices, the FTSE Xinhua Index Family is governed by a transparent set of ground rules, to ensure that index changes and reviews are predictable and systematic. These rules are drafted, maintained and interpreted by the independent FTSE Xinhua Index Committee, made up of market experts. This committee is responsible for the management and evolution of the indices, and for conducting the periodic reviews of all FTSE Xinhua indices.
